Release Notes: 1. The FLASH.EXE is a DOS utility to program flash memory on the CPU board. Use this utility to update the BIOS. To use the flash utility, copy it and the BIOS image to be programmed into flash onto a bootable DOS floppy disk. The DOS floppy disk should not load a memory manager. Boot the system using the DOS floppy. To program the BIOS image, run the flash utility with the following syntax where FILENAME is the name of the BIOS image to program. FLASH /B FILENAME.ROM Online help is available for the flash utility when executed with the following syntax. FLASH /? 2. VxWorks users of Ziatech's Tornado BSPs may use the FLASH utilities described in the documentation of the BSP. 3. ZT 6502 uses the same BIOS as ZT 6501. 4. BIOS versions greater than or equal to 5.10 contain the BootP/PXE BIOS extension from LANWORKS. Refer to the BIOS User Manual for more information.
